Dr. Gabrielle Horne tells her story

Dr Gabrielle Horne is a cardiologist at the QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax, and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Dalhousie University. She was the target of extreme workplace bullying over 16 years in the division of cardiology in Halifax. After a 33-day jury trial in 2016, she received the largest damages award in its class in Canadian history against the QEII Health Sciences Centre, where she still works. The hospital became the first public body in Nova Scotia to be found guilty of bad faith or malice in a court of law.
